I have a friend with a bus licence, can they drive your bus if we hire you?
Due to insurance company premiums, and in the interest of maintaining a good NO CLAIM bonus, Southside Roadlines does not offer self-drive hires to the general public.
I think I left my phone / hat / sunglasses on your bus
Lost property is usually found at the end of a day tour and if this was a group tour or charter, your driver will try to re-unite the item with group’s organiser / last person off the bus straight away. Make contact with your group your first line of enquiry; if they are unable to help you, send us an email on the general enquiries form with subject: lost property, stating your date of travel / item description / name of tour or driver and we will do our best to help.
We cannot help you with lost property which has been left on board public transport vehicles.
Can we drink in your bus?
At Southside, we take pride in protecting you from D.U.I charges, however there are two answers to this question-
- We do not hold a general liquor license so, NO alcohol can be consumed in our vehicles without prior arrangement.
- Your group can apply for a temporary liquor licence which, at additional cost, can allow your group to consume alcohol on board subject to meeting certain requirements- i.e. having a responsible person in charge of serving, Not using glassware or glass bottles inside, and safe storage of liquor out of passenger general accessibility to name a few.
If you wish to go ahead with a liquor licensed trip, please advise our office to check vehicle availability and we will then provide you with the vehicle’s registration number to add onto your temporary liquor license paperwork.

Southside Roadlines is a charter and tour bus company, we do not operate ticketed timetabled bus services around Adelaide suburbs, regionally, or interstate.
Whole of bus hires can be made available to those with big wallets.

Payments of accounts are usually by cheque or direct debit to an account number indicated on your tax Invoice, if you are using an order number for the services we provide, please advise these details once you decide to confirm your transport booking. We do not have credit card payment facilities.
